We supplied the owner of a Southport 28 TE centre console yacht with Quick’s RGBW (red, green, blue, white) colour-changing underwater lights and strip LEDs.
The RGBW lighting system is controlled by our Quick Colour Control (QCC) touch screen control panel. You can also control the lights with your smartphone using our “Quick Color Control” app on Google Play and Apple Store.
Here’s an overview of Quick’s QCC RGBW colour-changing LED lighting system that we supplied.

3 main light zones were set for this RGBW light system on board:
- Zone 1: LED underwater lights at the stern transom
- Zone 2: LED strips along the perimeter of the boat – port & starboard
- Zone 3: LED strips at the cabin console area
Boat owner can choose to control different sections of lights on his boat. For example, he could turn on the underwater lights and set it to blue colour, turn off the strip lights at the cabin console area and turn on the strip lights lining the boat’s port & starboard and set it to blue colour as well.
You can also set and synchronize all zones to an automatic colour-changing mode. Once in this mode, the light colours will transit seamlessly across the entire RGBW spectrum continuously.
