Our Quick gyro stabilizer MC2 X7 AC was installed on a Grady White Canyon 336 by the team at Marina Yacht Services (MYS).

Boat overview:
Space is scarce on this boat but we managed to find a tight spot to fit our gyro stabilizer in the cabin compartment below the console seating area.
As always, the base for mounting the gyro stabilizer had to be built. A square-shaped steel plate was fabricated & laminated onto the fibreglass hull. Once that’s done, our MC2 X7 AC gyro stabilizer was lowered into position by crane, shifted into position and mounted onto the base – photo below.
Once that is done, all that’s left is to wire up the gyro stabilizer to the AC dynamic driver and the touch screen remote control panel and install the ventilation fan / blower to cool the compartment.
