Finally exhibiting again after 3 years on our home soil after exhibiting in Phuket a few months back. This would’ve been our 6th boat show in Singapore if not for Covid-19.
We also came back with a splash for this Singapore boat show as this is our first time exhibiting on water with a demo boat. We did our signature rock-the-boat test with our Quick gyro stabilizer turned off initially and then on, to show the effectiveness of our gyro stabilizers. Video of it below.
The boat show came back with a cautious start with a scaled-down exhibition that didn’t occupy the whole marina. The land booths were also scrapped this round.
Despite a little drama, this show still received good support from the local boat dealers and the show was lined with many yachts, toys and equipment suppliers from the region.
Our 33ft demo boat was dwarfed by a 75ft and a 60ft flybridge yacht on both sides! Thankfully we could still be seen from above:
The show was a good one with many serious boaters and service providers from around the region – such as Philippines, Thailand and Malaysia – visiting us. Generated many good leads.
We also had a great time catching up with our local customers such as Zycraft USV, Penguin Shipyard, to name a few. We gave them all a good workout with our rock-the-boat test 😆
In case you missed us at the boat show, here’s a walk-through of our booth:
It rained on 2 days of the show. The first bout of rain was on day 2 (if I remember correctly) but thankfully it stopped after awhile. The next bout of rain was on the last day. It wasn’t just rain, it was a downpour. Thankfully it poured near the end of the show so most of us were already in closing-down mode except the yacht dealers of course – they were holding after-event parties on board their yachts & booths.
Overall we had a great show. Good leads, good exposure. Looking forward to next year’s show already! Good job Wade & team from SG Marine Guide!
Ending this post off with a beautiful drone shot of the SYF2023 at dusk:
